Edgemoor has never let "we haven't done this before" be a reason to not pursue a project. From roads and schools to courthouses, civic centers, a hockey rink, and an airport, the team has consistently stepped into unfamiliar territory and delivered. The Kansas City International Airport was the boldest example yet, and Geoff led the pursuit from the very beginning.

 

Rather than showing up with polished renderings and telling the city what their airport should look like, Geoff and the team did something different: they asked. Community design meetings were held in all six council districts, and the feedback shaped every major design decision, from the fountains that reflect Kansas City's identity to the local restaurants that replaced national chains. What followed was a $1.5 billion project delivered months ahead of schedule and under budget, recognized in the top half of one percent of mega-projects worldwide, and honored with more than 30 industry awards. Two years in a row, Geoff was named one of the 100 most powerful people in Kansas City by the Kansas City Business Journal.​
