This collection reflects what drives Brian's work: helping clients see what's possible, making the process enjoyable, and building places where people thrive.

I think of us as pathfinders. We're out there with the machete, clearing the way through something complex and making it a great experience for the client.

OFFICIAL BIOGRAPGHY
Brian Naumick is a developer with deep experience spanning advisory, development, and construction management, with a focus on innovation campuses and institutional environments that require early alignment and disciplined execution over time. As a Partner at Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate, Brian works closely with universities and public-sector partners to structure projects that connect mission, financing, delivery strategy, and long-term operational needs.
Brian is often involved at the front end of a project, helping institutional leaders clarify objectives, evaluate delivery and financing options, and establish a clear path forward before design and construction begin. His approach is grounded in technical rigor and practical decision-making, shaped by his civil engineering background and focus on long-term performance.
His work includes leading the development effort for George Mason University’s Fuse at Mason Square, a mixed-use innovation hub delivered through a public-private partnership structure, as well as advisory support for Virginia Tech during the early planning and site strategy phase for its Innovation Campus in National Landing.
Brian holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland. Outside of project work, he has spent the past decade mentoring students through Capital Partners for Education, supporting long-term academic and career outcomes for low-income students in the Washington, DC region.
