OFFICIAL BIOGRAPGHY

Brian Naumick engages with clients to form strategic partnerships, lead development efforts, and identify the best path forward to maximize their opportunities. He brings over 20 years of comprehensive experience in advisory, development, and construction management to the Edgemoor team.

 

Recently, Brian led the development of Fuse at Mason Square, George Mason University's commercial and academic digital innovation hub in the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor. He has also focused on other purpose-built innovation development opportunities, including providing real estate advisory services to Virginia Tech for their new innovation campus in National Landing. Brian's broader project experience also includes Centennial Yards in Atlanta and Port Covington in Baltimore, among other major mixed-use and civic developments.

 

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and completed executive education at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland.

 

For more than a decade, Brian has mentored students through Spark the Journey, a Washington, DC-based nonprofit that provides mentorship and a community of support for young adults charting their own paths to college and career success. He currently serves on the organization's Board of Directors and chairs its Finance Committee.

 

Outside of work, Brian enjoys time with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs, along with the outdoors and sports.
